Letter from the Editor

Welcome to my re-imagined vision for Nutrition con Sabor — now a digital zine highlighting Latin American food, culture, and wellness.

When I first started Nutrition con Sabor, I knew the message that I wanted to convey: Latin American food deserved more respect, especially in nutrition spaces. I had seen so much dismissal of the food culture that had nourished me growing up, and I felt I could be a voice to reframe that narrative.

Over the years, I’ve worn many hats from private practice RD to content creator to consultant. But the through-line I always kept coming back to was writing. That’s what led me to this new chapter.

Each issue will bring you a mix of informational nutrition articles, editorials, recipes and commentary, all rooted in our food and cultura.

This first drop is a “mini” zine so that I can share my vision with you.

Whether you’ve been with me for the last five years, or this is our first time connecting, thank you for being here.

Con mucho cariño,

Krista

P.S. Yes there’s a personality quiz, you’re gonna love it!
